In 2018, Skillenza in the Indian job marketplace was named the winner of the Judges Choice award at the Top 100 qualifiers, the event was held in Bengaluru. The company also went on to represent India at Echelon Asia Summit 2018 which was held in Singapore.
In May 2019, the company has secured a US$1 million funding in a pre-series A round led by CBA Capital’s Education Catalyst Fund. Besides that, the existing investors, Tracxn Labs and Blume Ventures also participated in the funding round along with CIO Angel Network, Let’s Venture, Hyderabad Angels, and Keiretsu Forum.
Skillenza India plans to use these funds to support regional expansion by entering tier2 and 3 cities in India and also on product development by creating new modules for assessing software engineers.
