Praktis (formerly PTS.sc), a data-driven supply chain solution for DTC (direct to consumer) brands, revealed that it has raised an undisclosed amount in a pre-Series A investment round headed by East Ventures and Triputra Group.

To provide better service to Praktis’ clients, the funds will be used to accelerate technology enhancements, team building, and expanding product offerings.

Praktis is assisting brand owners with day-to-day operational activity management. Praktis has complete insight of all supply chain operations thanks to superior technology and systems. It improves the cost-effectiveness of the production planning and inventory control processes.

The platform serves as a single point of contact for SMEs to manage their back-end operations, allowing the founders to concentrate on their core company.

“Juggling between managing procurement, logistics, and store management on top of designing and marketing great products can be such a major headache for SME DTC brands,” Dipta Imanto, Co-founder of Praktis said.

Imanto added that this is where they will come in, offering seamless operations management.

The Indonesian DTC markets in fashion, food and personal care, as well as furniture and appliances, which are now Praktis’ primary focus, are predicted to expand to US$ 36,120 billion annually by 2025.

Adrian Gilrandy, Co-founder of Praktis, said they are seeing a promising DTC market in Indonesia which is reflected in the company’s monthly revenue. Currently they are experiencing over 12x growth (YoY) in 2021 with estimated 24X CAGR and 31% CMGR based on an eight-month period from January to September 2021.

Wilson Cuaca, Co-founder and Managing Partner of East Ventures, said they invested in the company with the belief that their product offerings will be able to help SME DTC brands to grow and scale rapidly.

Praktis’ services include sourcing and production activities, which allow brands to use Praktis’ vast network of trusted suppliers to create and develop their products; logistics and fulfillment services, which provide operational efficiency through automated systems and reliable partners; order management systems, which allow brands to enter the right channels with accurate data-driven insights and demand predictions; and access to working capital financing, which allows brands to enter the right channels with accurate data-driven insights and demand predictions; and working capital financing.
